We’ve been growing our unique clone of Sangiovese – often favorably compared to Brunello – here since 1989, the first planting in Napa Valley. Since then, Oakville has been the home of Villa Ragazzi, Napa Valley’s only winery specializing in estate grown Sangiovese wines. An under-the-radar, family owned and operated microwinery, Villa Ragazzi is Napa Valley’s Sangiovese specialist.
The Rodeno family only bottles a select few barrels of Sangiovese per year. The result is small amounts of a fine super-Tuscan blend named Faraona and a tangy, dry Rosato di Sangiovese from our green-certified, fish-friendly vineyard.
