At Fortunati Vineyards, we invite you to share in the experience of our home, our lifestyle and our passion!

A hobby gone wild is the best way to describe the birth of Fortunati. Winemaker Gary Luchtel and wife Ellen gave up “the city” life to follow their true delight: wine! Nestled into the heart of the Oak Knoll district appellation in the legendary Napa Valley, Fortunati – meaning lucky or fortunate in Italian – provides extremely limited productions of premium, hand-crafted wines. With space to accommodate private VIP tastings for corporate functions, to catered events and special parties, the sprawling views and ultra-friendly atmosphere imparts an experience you will never forget.

From estate-grown Rose of Syrah and Viognier, to carefully blended Rhone and Bordeaux varietals, our wine lineup also offers Napa’s best-known Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. Fortunati Vineyards is certain to provide a wonderful wine sure to please the most discerning palate.

Enjoy a private, by-appointment wine tasting and play with both exotic and familiar flavors as our extremely knowledgeable staff walks you through an exquisite cheese and wine pairing experience.

From romantic interludes to wowing corporate clients, celebrating a special birthday or anniversary, or just enjoying some fun time in wine country, sample unique, handcrafted, very limited wines with family and friends. We would love having you, and we know you will love the time spent here amongst our Fortunati vines… not to mention we know you’ll also love our Fortunati wines!

I grew up in Brentwood, TN, a suburb of Nashville, and attended Wake Forest University for Information Systems & Accountancy. I have been touring guests through Napa & Sonoma since 2010 and absolutely love it. I enjoy meeting new people, driving them through the beautiful wine country and providing insider information about the best winery & restaurant experiences. Eat, drink & be merry.
